Things a Product Advocate Might Do:

Here are the things a product advocate at Vercel might do in no particular order. List the 3 things you would be most interested in doing and the 3 you would be least interested in doing

Proposed Solution

Most Interested in Doing

  1. Work with the Team to make sure email tone is consistent with the Vercel brand

Since email would be an integral part of the product advocate role, I would like to learn and adapt to the tone of the team. This would help to keep communication very consistent across different regions as well.

  1. Hop on a Zoom call to qualify a prospect or educate them about Vercel

Helping a prospect understand the product and its features is a great way of gaining their trust and seeing through their pain points and helping them to address those by using Vercel and said technical stack.

  1. Recommend to customers the Vercel plan best suited for them

Giving a detailed recommendation to the customer for which Vercel plan works best for them, considering all the factors that might affect the choice of plan to go forward with. This again would help customers to make an informed decision.

Least Interested in Doing

  1. Create queries to look at a prospect's typical Vercel usage

  2. Evaluate OSS sponsorship applications

  3. Evaluate an application to help determine if it's commercial or not
