Task 2

Task Details

  1. In your next role, what are you looking to learn or do more of?
  2. Which (non-Vercel) technical or sales article, guide or lightning talk left the biggest positive impression on you? Why?

Proposed Solution

In your next role, what are you looking to learn or do more of?

Coming from a Frontend Development role, I look forward to learning two significant things:

  1. Polishing sales skills, I look forward to learning and polishing my sales skills and improving my written communication skills. This would help me in growing my career in growth and marketing.

  2. Learning and experimenting with projects, in order to convince or share someone my viewpoint around a technical stack like Next.js + Vercel, I like to make sure myself, that I feel comfortable and find value around the same, so I can make a more reliable suggestion to someone else.

Which (non-Vercel) technical or sales article, guide or lightning talk left the biggest positive impression on you? Why?

What is Jamstack?

This is one of the technical articles and guides around Jamstack, which I followed a few years ago to understand What is Jamstack. This left a big positive impact on me, from understanding the whole idea to making a sample Jamstack application.

During my initial years of learning web development, this kind of showed me the path and power of Static Site Generators, this was actually how I got introduced to Next.js. There were many Static Site Generators, but when I tried Next.js, it was an amazing developer experience, making me realize the importance of good DX in development.
